At the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
1.      Read articles on whales and dolphins aloud using correct pronunciation and intonation.
2.      Give opinions on whales and dolphins.
3.   Answer the exercise questions correctly within the given time.
4.   Provide evidences for the questions based on the articles.
5.   State the reading techniques that they have used in finding the answers.

1. Teacher asks students how they are feeling today. (1 minute)
2. Students answer the teacher’s question. (2 minutes)
3. Teacher tells the students on the topic of marine mammals that they will be learning.
(2 minute)

Lesson
1. Teacher shows a short video on interesting facts on whales and dolphins.
(2 minutes 14 seconds)
2. Teacher asks randomly on the students’ feedback about the video.
(2 minutes)
3. Teacher generates students’ schemata on marine mammals. (5 minutes)
4. Students voluntarily provide their feedback. (2 minutes)
5. Teacher displays an article on “Dolphins” and read the article aloud
 (1 minute).
Evaluation of Learning outcome 1
1. Teacher asks the students to follow and repeat reading the article together. (1 minute)
2. Teacher asks randomly, several students to read the article aloud.
(4 minutes)
Evaluation of Learning outcome 2
1. Teacher asks students’ feedback on the article. (2 minutes)
2. Teacher explains and discusses the article with the class. (5 minutes)
3. Teacher divides the students into groups of three. (1 minute)
Evaluation of Learning outcome 3
1. Teacher asks students to answer Exercise A provided in the article, in groups. (10 minutes)
Evaluation of Learning outcome 4
1. Teacher appoints any groups to answer each question and provide evidences from the text. (5 minutes)
2. Teacher provides another three exercises (Exercise B, C & D) via online for students to answer in groups. (15 minutes)
3. Teacher discusses the answers together with the students. (10 minutes)

1. Teacher asks students the reading techniques that they have used in finding the   answers to the questions. (5 minutes)
Closure
(4 Minutes)
1. Teacher relates and explains all four articles. (3 minutes)
2. Teacher recaps on the lesson that they have learnt. (1 minute)
